About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a diverse professional background, having worked across a range of settings, including hospitals, law enforcement, schools, non-profits, and private practice. My therapeutic approaches are grounded in Attachment-Focused Therapy, EMDR, DBT, Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems. I specialize in helping adults manage trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, and relationship challenges, with a focus on people of color and multicultural populations. My experience extends to working with business professionals, understanding the intersection between high-stress environments and personal growth.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent years in the finance and business sectors, where I gained invaluable insights into the pressures of maintaining a balance between career, relationships, and personal well-being. This experience shapes my work today, allowing me to approach challenges from both a practical and empathetic perspective, especially for those navigating high-pressure environments.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy equestrian sports, yoga, traveling, and exploring different cuisines. These activities keep me grounded, inspired, and remind me of the importance of balance, self-care, and the joy of discovering new experiences.

I offer online therapy for adults who are navigating emotional challenges and seeking meaningful, lasting change. My approach combines clinical depth with cultural sensitivity, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space for healing—whether you're beginning therapy for the first time or returning to deepen your self-awareness and growth.
I work with adults across life stages—from early adulthood through midlife—who are experiencing a range of emotional and relational challenges. Many of my clients are managing anxiety, overthinking, and chronic stress while balancing personal goals, career pressures, and shifting relationships. I also support those healing from trauma, including childhood trauma, relational wounds, and complex PTSD, helping them process the past and rebuild a sense of safety and self-trust.
A core part of my practice focuses on individuals struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns, including anorexia, bulimia, emotional eating, and perfectionism around food and appearance. I integrate a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach and anti-diet philosophy, emphasizing body respect, intuitive eating, and holistic well-being rather than weight or dieting.Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating a major life decision, starting or ending a relationship, raising a family, or reevaluating your direction, therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and grow.
My practice is inclusive and affirming of multiracial and multiethnic identities, including individuals from Latino/a/e, Asian, African American, Southeast Asian, and European backgrounds. I honor the ways cultural identity, migration experiences, and intergenerational dynamics shape our emotional lives, and I integrate that awareness into every part of the therapeutic process.
I also provide therapy in Portuguese, offering culturally responsive care to Portuguese-speaking clients in their native language.
